Chinese wiper blades

I’ve had very good experiences with one of Napa‘s wiper blade lines. Specifically, Napa Neoform. I had been having really good service out of them and then I once “upgraded“ to Trico‘s most expensive line because it was still US made. But in two months, one of them had torn and I reached out to the company and was ignored so I went back to the Napas. They are currently selling for $27.39 CAD each. Or $54.80 CAD a pair. NAPA claims that they can last up to 12 months, but I have literally gotten anywhere from 24 to 30 months when I have used them and that includes our brutal winters. I don’t purchase a great deal at Napa any more these days because unless they have one of their special sales, their prices are really “surreal“. But for wipers, I continue to use these.

I’ve had pretty good luck with off-brand Amazon wiper blades. I’ve bought the Motium brand several times and currently have them on my Suburban. I have the 5 Plus brand on my CR-V and they are perfectly fine as well.

If your CX-30 has the typical 9mm x 3mm Mazda shepherd's hook connection (see below) like 99% of modern Japanese vehicles, the front Aero blades that you looked up on Amazon will fit perfectly.

The vehicle lookup tool on Amazon shows the Aero blades are incompatible because that package does not include the rear window wiper blade.
Thank you. I do not need the rear blade as it's working just fine so this Aero combo looks good. Amazon's parts confirmation process appears to be a tad overly sensitive in this case.

>>>for non-Mazda folks, some Mazdas have a very unique connector. Why they just can't use the Toyota connector or J-hook? dunno.

For OP, I've bought wipers from Temu for <$10 per wiper.

they were exceĺlent for the price, per dollar better than the Michelin Guardians at Costco.

Wish I can recommend some names or the Temu store, but everything is in Chinese, lmao. Can't find a brand name.

IMO, if you're feeling lucky, be willing to gamble and try some random compatible wipers on the "most sold" list.

buy from rockauto. 1/4 retail prices
get a couple sets and your engine and cabin air filters.. etc.
If you have never used rockauto there is a trick to getting them all to ship from the same warehouse.
you add first product to shopping cart.
then go back for second.. and some will have a TRUCK ICON by them.. those ship from same warehouse.

I've noticed on Scamazon that a lot of those Chinese blades have boxes that look very similar to name brands. Especially Rain X, Anco and Bosch.

Some of the names!
Emithsun
Huladaed
Aslam
Rooppa
Veigeir
VTOGOI
Anikluim
Autoboo
Raintok
Zixmmo
Anrddo

It's like someone took a bag of Scrabble pieces and just randomly picked out letters!

I live in an area that sees a ton of rain and I must spread the gospel of AliExpress wiper blades. In the past, I only used Valeo 900 or Valeo Silencio at a minimum but after COVID19, I noticed that they needed replacing within a year. I assume their quality has dropped like almost everything else in the world. Anyway, since I was now replacing wipers annually and didn't feel like pissing money away, I figured there would be nothing to lose with cheap wipers off AliExpress.

I started using these Denso style hybrid blades last year on two vehicles (~$15/pair) and they continue to wipe quietly with no streaking. They accept these 8mm refills (~$5/pair) and are stupid easy to replace. I also used the same 8mm inserts on Toyotas with factory Denso hybrid blades at the same time and they are still working well. At $5/vehicle, I have no issue replacing them annually.

However, I cannot recommend the beam style blades on AliExpress. They wipe fine but make a "flip flop" noise every time they change directions. It's also a huge pain to replace the inserts on them.

I (used to) speak passable Mandarin (putonghua) common mainland Chinese. When I worked in and out 2000-2005 I was getting better at it. Now rusty, and old memory. But funny how many Chinese people assumed because things were written in alphabet all westerners could read said language. Like I know a little Spanish and German, some Portuguese but no French, Swedish, etc. They would bring things to me to read, I'd be like this is Albanian, I got no clue...........reason being they live in character based world. So yeah, letters could be letters!

OEM Toyota insert alone are just $15-20, you sure Mazda is $30-60?

I'd pick OEM insert over aftermarket whole blade any day.
You may have read my post to quickly. I said mazda inserts were around 30.00 and mazda wiper blades were 60.00. Participants have given me many good leads that will be a lot less.

I've tried most of the brands on rockauto, wasn't impressed with any of them. By far the best has been Bosch Icon, they last years for me. The car is sold or totaled before they go bad. Plus they're silent and don't streak.
