Kleenview wiper blades, at AAP

I know these blades have been discussed here before, but I am looking for any red flags before I buy a pair for a whopping $10.37 after a coupon code at AAP. For that price, I figure it's worth a shot.

Last fall I stocked up on winter wiper blades, also for a great price, and figured to run them year-round, changing each November. Well, the winter blades worked great through a long hard winter---but the past few weeks, as it warmed up and we got misty 'soupy' rain, they started to streak. So, back to 'regular' blades I go for the summer.....thanks for all advice.

Been running them front and rear on my Outback for about 2 years now. Car alternates between street and parking garage, so I can't complain about the life.

Thusfar, they do fine, start streaking, get cleaned up with alcohol, and go back to working decently again. Not sure how long they will actually last.

I use them with no issues either, if rockauto didn't have killer shipping then I would get it from them at around ~$1.5 for each

I would pay the extra money for Bosch Icons.

I used 2 sets of Kleenviews. One set lasted maybe a year. The other set did not last 4 months even with cleaning and silicone spray. I got Trico Exact Fits 6 months ago and they are doing great so far.

Thanks, gents. Just bought and installed the Kleenview blades. Heavy rain forecast for Friday. We shall see. If they stink and need to be replaced, I learned a lesson for 10 bucks and change.

Wish I had known they are made in China---but can you buy wiper blades made in the USA? I've had Rain-X made in Korea, Autocraft made in Mexico, and so on.

The ONLY ones currently are the Goodyear beam blades, seemingly ONLY available at Costco.

Rain Beaters (is this what they are still called??) has told me that they might have an upstate NY facility open and running within 3 years time.

Well, the Kleenviews worked great in today's steady-to-heavy rain and moderate fog. We did not get quite the monsoon predicted, but bad enough; I put on about 75-80 miles, mostly highway, with no streaking or chattering.

Time will tell, but the first test passed, if not aced.

I've used them before without too many issues. They work great for a while, but they don't last as long as other brands in my experience.
