Two Foods I'll Never Stop Eating

Runny eggs taste better and are actually better for you because the fats in the yolk aren't as oxidized.
We eat all beans except soy.
Soybeans / tofu are a thyroid disruptor, for one thing.

I don’t have any problems with soy so I’m not buying that at all

just because *you* haven't ever had problems (yet?), doesn't mean that there isn't an issue. Along with that, there may be an issue, there may not be, but just because you, a singular person, hasn't had problems, doesn't mean anything and not a good argument to put forth.

I have very high cholesterol according to the blood tests. That problem went away when we quit testing my cholesterol. I actually ate a very reduced fat diet for three months a couple of decades ago. My cholesterol went up by about 50 points. So, I went back to my regular diet and my cholesterol went back down to a nice, healthy 252.

Interesting...I read years ago that while it was a fad to eat raw or undercooked eggs, the bioavailability of the protein is actually lower, and your body can use more of the protein and nutrients if they are cooked through.

I do personally prefer slightly undercooked eggs though, with salt and pepper :)

Eggs could not be less appealing to me. I just don't like 'em. Never did. Kind of funny because most everybody likes eggs.

I like a blackened dolphin sandwich like this:

What you said doesn’t change my mind. I could care less. I have not had issues with beans or soy. I don’t eat lots of junk to begin with and not allergic to some foods at all. Not even gonna argue with someone insulting that I was WHEN I WAS NOT!

Have a nice life and don’t bother me again
No one is trying to change your mind. What someone is saying is that your sample size of 1 is not a valid statistic. Also, no one is insulting you either.

Good grief!

Add several slices of bacon and it's the perfect breakfast. Maybe slightly more browned on the potatoes. Oh, and a sliced tomato to go with it.

I only eat about 20 - 25 different whole foods, and besides beans, these are two of my most important foods.
Runny eggs and red potatoes baked on a silicone baking sheet.

I eat alot of eggs and potatoes too, for breakfast I like a baked potato with a couple of sunny side up eggs put into the potato.... Runny egg yolk with some salt and pepper is a pretty good "sauce" IMO.
Here's a couple days production of the flock last spring.

I agree. Some people ask why I eat so many eggs, so I told them my reasons why,
and then some of them start getting defensive, as if I came here to recruit new egg eaters.
I do this for my own passion to eat functional foods that nourish my body better than meds or anything else.
Don't be so set in your ways that you get irritated when someone makes a post like this.

There is for my body.
Eating 3-4 eggs a day lowered my cholesterol from 248 to I used to have to wear glasses when I drove my car in Tennessee but no more.
I outgrew them and the day came when I could see better without them.
Confirmed by my eye MD.
You stirred mixed opinions but thanks for sharing. Sharing personal experience often brings out people questioning the validity of statement but I have also had personal experiences that get attacked as I don't have proof or studies to back them up. I like people to share as I might want to try them and see if I get similar results.
