Tree Trim - looking for opinions

Looks good now. I agree that it was overhanging the street a bit too much. Initially I was going to be very pro homeowner on this and ignore the letter and say your uncle Rico, an arborist, inspected the tree and said those limbs couldn’t be trimmed without fear of damaging/killing the tree but it looks better now.
I live in an HOA on 1 acre. I have the biggest lot in my neighborhood with a ton of trees. The HOA and or insurance are always asking me to trim something. The last time the HOA asked me to trim something I politely informed them that the tree they wanted cut down was not on my property (HOA property) and they would have to hire someone to remove it if they wanted it cut down.
