trans fluid question. 2008 Jetta Se 2.5

I have a 2008 Jetta Se 2.5 automatic that I want to change the transmission fluid. I believe it takes G 055 025 A2. I am looking at these fluids. What is the significance of the suffix after the part number G 055 025 A2 XXXX. Also can anyone confirm this is the correct fluid for this application

I am not sure what country you are in. However the Amsoil website lists their multi-vehicle ATF for your vehicle.

Simply put, the Amsoil ATF is one of the best ATFs avaliable. Period.

I would go with Amsoil or VW if it were my car.

BTW - I have Amsoil ATF in the auto transmission of both my vehicles and in the TC of my Jeep.

You have several ATF brands I never heard of, so I am thinking you are outside of the USA?

That is the same as Toyota T-IV and Mobil 3309. The fluid meets the jws 3309 spec for Aisin transmissions. You can buy a case of 12 quarts of Mobil 3309 from Amazon for about $64.

Search around for the T-IV and 3309 spec fluids.

Febi Brand is part of the Bilstein Group.

Well known quality OEM parts for suspension, transmission, ect...on many European cars, especially VW/Audi, BMW, and Mercedes as well.

If the price is right buy that brand...it is likely the OE fill.

I am in NJ, never updated my location. I have seen Fuchs before but never Febi. Good to know it is a quality product. Those are from Pelican products webpage.
