Toyota Tercel with 1.2 million kms (783k miles)

I sold my Tercel last year at 375,000km to a young guy who wanted to keep it going. This was an incredibly cheap car to operate and maintain. I got rid of it only due to the lack of modern safety features.

I had to replace the distributor a couple of years back and noticed that parts were starting to become a lot tougher to get. I had a choice between a Cardone rebuild and OEM junkyard part. Went with oem but this seemed to be the case for lots of parts….starting to dry up.

There's an old joke:

This is George Washington's old hatchet. The handle has been replaced three times and the head has been replaced twice, but it's still his hatchet, right?
I refer to my mountain bike (a 2002 Rocky Mountain Fusion) as "Grandpa's Axe" - it's all original except for both wheels, the suspension fork (thank you, @NYEngineer), and all the regular wear items - many tires, tubes, chains, cassettes, brake pads, shifter cables, tubing, etc. etc.
