Is this filter a replacement for 08922-02011? It is phyically slightly smaller. Does it have anti-drain valve? Application is 2003 V6 Highlander.

90915-YZZB1 is indeed a Japan made replacement for US made 08922-02011 but I think it has different filtering media and doesn't have anti-drain valve. The best filter for this application is Denso made 90915-20003 or a slighly bigger 90915-20004.

Take a look at this 90915-20004 and 08922-02011 comparison: http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/parts/toyota_filter/

I bought the stock tundra filter for my 89 supra turbo(90915-yzzb5), in reading I noticed that it does not have a bypass valve, Is this going to be a problem, cause i do believe the filter is automatically bypassed under boost situations. Should I go with the other denso tundra filter next time that does include the bypass? Thanx

Both 90915-2000x and 90915-YZZBx filters are made in Japan and feature the same filtering material but -YZZBx filters have less ribs (less material is used) and have no bypass valve, they are cheaper alternative to -2000x filters that are used at the factory in Japan.

will the lack of a bypass valve be a problem, The 7m is was designed to run at low oil pressure,(40psi at 3k rpm)so i doubt the filter would go into bypass often. Just wondering if I should not install this filter on my supra, I could put it on my 4 runner and get the other filter with the bypass for the supra if that would be a better idea.

F1Crazy is correct. 90915-YZZB1 does not have a anti-drain valve. The interior has plastic forms supporting a fiber filter media. Will lack of anti-drain valve creat a problem for my 2003 Highlander V6?
