Toyota Camry 2011 LE P/S fluid type?

I re-read your original post.. yeah the dealer's are expensive. There's a tool you can use at toyota's auto parts website. They let you select a dealer near you and I've used that to see who had the lowest prices. You could always call around and see if the parts dept will sell it cheaper to you. the coolant I meant.

here's the website I've used.. just read the list price around $28 for a jug of SLLC coolant.. one dealer around here was $20.

Your 2011 Camry is the same generation (6th) as my 2007. The answer to power steering fluid is Valvoline Maxlife ATF. When I purchased mine in 2014 I replaced both the power steering fluid and the transmission fluid with Maxlife ATF and I have not experienced a single hiccup with either. Either flush it out by removing a line and feeding it clean fluid until it runs through completely or siphon and refill it a few times. Either way, that generation of Camry takes to Maxlife ATF like it was engineered for it.

Edit: And don't take my word for it. The toyotanation.com 5th and 6th generation forum has about every answer you could want for that car.

Thank you, Yes I read that Dex6 is thinner, don't know if it makes any difference, though
Dex6 is not actually thinner, this is a long repeated misunderstanding. Dex3 is a discontinued, old-tech spec and provides a fluid with low performance and durability. Dex6 corrects most of the shortcomings and while the fluid is thinner out of the bottle, it's actually thicker in application.

TLDR
Dex3 is obsolete and performs poorly in application. Dex3 is actually thinner than Dex6 where it matters.

Thank you. I didn't know this information.
