Here's one used oil analysis of Sustina 0W-20 on a tracked FR-S in Florida:

But TGMO 0W-20 is almost as good and of course is cheaper and more easily available.

For track use when oil temp's can get very high, the solution is not a heavier grade but to install an oil cooler. That's always the preferred solution for many reason. The positive effects of installing an oil cooler in a FR-S/BRZ was mentioned in the Sustina used oil analysis.

Your answer can be found in the used oil analysis threads at ft86.com. There are also some threads in the oil forum and in the track forum there showing lower track temps on thinner oil.

To summarize the used oil analysis threads there:
86's that are driven hard on the street are doing well on any GF5 0W-20.

86's that have forced induction and stock internals are doing well on Red Line xW-20 and Motul 300V 0W-20.

If you lived in Japan, Subaru Japan would tell you that their Subaru labeled Castrol SLX Professional 5W40 is fine.
