Help! Converted this thing with a dead motor to diesel, and had the local shop diagnose and repair a pre-existing chain throwing issue. It worked great when I got it back, but I backed it up a set of ramps to bolt the bottom cover back on, and now it's stuck in reverse. The model/serial plate disappeared long before I got this thing, but it has the round forward housing if that helps to date/identify the unit. If I had to guess, I would say it's late 70's or early 80's production. It is friction drive, three forward speeds and one reverse. Moving the lever to neutral just leaves it in reverse, and I can't shift into any forward speeds. When you move the lever to neutral, the rubber wheel stays in contact with the flywheel. I tried spraying down the octagonal shaft with lube, but no workie. I'm gonna search for a repair manual, but any tricks to try in the meantime?
