Price looks good and they’ve been around for years and years. I’ll try it and see. I’ve gotten away from off the shelf oils and am enjoying trying different brands.I've ran the SR1 5w30 with no issues.

Not compared to valvoline or the like. Compared to HPL and amsoil it’s not bad. Cheaper than schaeffers and about the same as HPS.$60 a jug isn't cheap, at least not in my opinion.
Walmart often sells Mobil1 for $35 Canadian.
In what way do you consider it superior to Mobil 1 ESP at Walmart for $27?Not compared to valvoline or the like. Compared to HPL and amsoil it’s not bad. Cheaper than schaeffers and about the same as HPS.
I’m not going to have a standoff on this. Go to torcousa.com and read up on it. Why you come after posters who are trying to have a sensible discussion is beyond me. It’s a small batch oil that meets all the specs my car requires. Enough said. I’m not trying to sell it to you.In what way do you consider it superior to Mobil 1 ESP at Walmart for $27?
I thought my question was a sensible one given you were discussing price.I’m not going to have a standoff on this. Go to torcousa.com and read up on it. What info from torco are you referencing? I see nothing but transparency from the info they give.I thought my question was a sensible one given you were discussing price.
No standoff, no selling and not “coming after” anyone. We are all just posting in the same thread. Not one thing I said was untrue nor an exaggeration and I’ve only referenced the information the blender themselves publish.
On the PDS they state one blend is suitable for manufacturer approvals that cannot be met simultaneously. Plus they use the dexos licensing logo but it is not licensed. This was discussed earlier in the thread. What info from torco are you referencing? I see nothing but transparency from the info they give.
You are correct and I apologize. When I looked back in 2023 when this thread started, it was not there.SX-8 shows up on the GM website for being dexos gen 2, for 0-20, 5-20 and 5-30. Only the 5-30 shows up for gen3. Sr1 is a no go and I don’t see that they’ve ever said otherwise. Kind of like royal purple and their Hps versus their store shelf line. I’m not seeing where they were less than honest? And surely not some fly by night company that starts with a “T”. It’s not cheap compared to grabbing a jug of Quaker state, but isn’t rebottled ultra lube. At least I don’t think.
All good. No apology needed. You are correct and I apologize. When I looked back in 2023 when this thread started, it was not there.
Thanks for the correction.
