Tool roll for the Outback

I see no reason for bringing bulbs, colored lens tape, etc.

Way too much to carry.

Anyone with a smart phone can find a store along their route with that stuff. The key is to get you moving again in the most likely conditions, to the greatest extent practical. The question that needs to be asked is what failure condition one seems as road repairable vs not.
 
a pair of 9-10 inch channel locks,8 inch Crecent wrench ,8 inch needle nose pliers,4 in one screw driver ,electrical tape,coil of machine wire, tire inflator (12v pump),and a 6x8 or so movers' blanket ,and one of those safety led lights you see advertised on tv to place by or on car,,good flashlight,
