Took out Bambi

Awesome thread! Really liked the quality work. I’m dealing with insurance right now and they are offering $5k less than it costs to replace my totaled truck.

I am giving serious thought to simply fixing it. I have the experience but not the energy.

I’d have it done by the time my wife heals up.

OP is like atikovi, but for body work and minus the kitchen counter 🤣

Great work and thanks for sharing it with all of us.👍
Haha, I'm really not all that experienced with body work. I learned on my '96 Maxima after I rear ended someone in 2020. Front clips generally come apart pretty easy, I don't know about the newer vehicles. The Maxima got a cruder treatment (bending metal back into place & but also found matching junkyard hood/fender) and looks decent. The elephant I see in the room after this repair, is people like to bag on Chrysler, but a blow to the corner at 55 mph, I would have expected a lot worse. This is also one of the easiest to work on cars I've ever owned, mechanical or body. Knock on wood, has never needed much other than regular maintenance, and most importantly for an older vehicle, no leaks. Inclined to keep it for the long haul.

Thanks everyone for the feedback.
