Says A110182456 on it, but molded into the plastic it also says 803068 and RH. I looked it up and got a maybe on it being Silverado?

I found it in my yard after fixing my mailbox. Mailbox 2, vehicles 0 -- this isn't the first time my mailbox has been hit nor the first time I've found a mirror near it.

What's the chance that it's off your postal carrier's vehicle?

:D

You know, the first time it happened, that was my thought. Now that it's happened again...

Mind you, we've been here for 4 winters and the plow truck has not hit it once.

Though i cant find one with that exact number, looks remarkably consistent with a 2015 -19 F Series.

Wait till dude or dudette finds out how much that mirror is...
Thanks! I wonder if it's a replacement mirror (no OEM marks that I could find)--and if it's the same guy/gal who hit it a couple years ago...

Do Boeing airplanes have external mirrors?
I think Bangor International is near I95 in Bangor? When I was in college I often passed a "low flying plane" sign while getting onto the highway to head to school. One day it had been knocked down flat. Low flying indeed!

I'd be tempted to make a new mailbox out of 1 inch thick wall steel welded to two very heavy gauge steel rectangle mounts in deep holes with plenty of cement. Strong enough so that all you have to do the next time is a little touch up with a spray can.

Or make it so that it flips up when hit and rips a driveshaft out.

There is an area by me where they built nice homes on 15 acre plots. The punks vandalized them - so they built them back from stone similar to this.
