Did a site search and got nothing. Saw it mentioned in FAMILY HANDYMAN magazine 5-2013, page 91. The plain blank extender on a serpentine belt tool is useful BUT this one ratchets. FH claims $20 for 1/4 or 3/8 plastic and $80 for metal pro.

I can think of a few bolts over the years where that would have saved a lot of time/aggravation. This would come in handy for those few bolts where a ratcheting wrench still doesn't have the clearance, or an extension or swivel still won't fit.

I cannot think of one tight spot I've worked on where that big thing would have helped. Every example in the video was no where near what I call "tight" and seems to be actually worse with that tool

Neat idea, but too big and clumsy. I may pick one up anyhow because it will be at BIG LOTS for cheap soon since it won't sell.

I always tell my kids that the "As seen on TV" gadgets will be sold in the chain stores in 6 months...if the item is any good. Since it looks like this product isn't made in the USA (if it would be an American or Canadian-made product, they brag about it on their web page), I think I'll just wait for this thing at Big Lots or Harbor Freight.
Just for curiosity sake, I would like to see a cutaway view of this thing to inspect the timing chain in it...

Manufacturer is claiming that you can use impact wrench on it but assuming it has multiple gears or chain to transfer the movement from one end to other, you will be losing lot of torque at every "junction" and there are going to be quite a few. As an engineer, I am guessing every hop drops the effective torque in half aka exponential decay.
