Time for battery replacement/possible upgrade?

I replaced my 2010 ram 1500 agm battery with a Bosch. Few weeks later I have a white puddle under the truck and smelled like acid!

I said what is this, opened hood and a rat had jewed the corner of battery and destroyed the battery. No warranty LOL

Bought another and replaced again 3 years later with Napa clarion.

See how long this last. It’s always topped off once a month with charger.

Truck has 95,000

Is this smart charger equipped? If so and unless you plan on using a maintainer, I wouldn’t go agm. They will last forever if maintained, if they’re running around undercharged then not so much.

lol the rat DIED! Caught him my ratinator live trap. I have chickens and turkeys and I tend to attract in winter. I have caught many and drowned them.

That has not been my experience. I've used them on 1970s, 80s, 90s and current 2000s cars without issue
