Years ago we were passing that in a 747 … I got up to stretch a leg - and was watching it through the door window … A voice over my shoulder said “beautiful isn’t it?” … I turned to see the Captain …

Years ago a flight went over northern Greenland and the Captain announced that the mountains in sight were rarely visible (clouds/time of day) and they were worth seeing.
They looked like kindergarden art.....a cluster of plain line angles with each mountain being just 2 line segments....like a block letter A with out the crossbar.
The length of each side and thus, the angles formed, varied a bit. It reminded me of the sketchy art of "Krazy Kat" cartoons.
A once-in-a-lifetime occurrence for me, I'd suspect.
