I remember as a kid seeing those burgers for 15cents. I always wanted one but my dad refused to buy one. He said "we don't eat that s***" I was 20 years old before I ever had a Big Mac. I think he was just too cheap and didn't want to spend the pennies.

My grandfather tried that with my mother growing up
...I think it played a part in her eating disorder
