Thoughts on Ford Taurus police interceptors?

That's what I don't get.... I see all these people (here and elsewhere) talking about how much their current car is worth and they're p**ing their pants in excitement in anticipation of selling it. What are they going to buy though ? Another way over-priced used car ?

I bought a RAV4 Prime at MSRP, and got $5K over KBB for my trade-in.

The ford Taurus and Explorer police cars fared better than the Dodge Chargers, and the Chevy Caprice Holden cars.

But at 100k they are worn pretty bad.

The only 100k police car I would consider would be Tahoe.
