The spleen: what else does it do?

I know it makes platelets and helps your liver. Medical folks please check in. Sorry if I’m too lazy to google this

That would be the common saying "Vent your spleen" or "Venting your Spleen" ?

The spleen is not a vital organ if you're worried about yours. I've never heard venting your spleen before. I always learn something new on BITOG.

My surgeon told me my spleen looked pristine back when he was in there poking around on other business.
