In all this talk about coolant colors, everyone thinks that green always means high silicate. In fact, there are green coolants that are actually low silicate. Standard Zerex and John Deere (SCA) come to mind.
"conventional" Zerex = low silicate with phosphates
G-05 HOAT low silicate, NO phosphate
DEXCOOL OAT no silicate, no phoshate
