Currently obtaining Napa Gold spin on for ~$3.60 on sale twice yearly at local Napa adds a silicone adbv (majority) and no combo valve makes them if not cheap, inexpensive and a solid value.

If you want a good cheap filter just use a Napa Silver.
They are usually less than 3 bucks.

Don't know if that is all over but you could check.
If you don't have a Napa just use a Motorcraft.

Motorcraft.Filters are like 3.59 A lot of Fords cant be wrong.

The factory Motorcrafts on new vehicles are not the same ones sold in your typical auto parts store.

The 'factory' FoMoCo filters are not Motorcraft. However, the Motorcraft filters sold over the counter at the dealer are the same as those sold at parts stores and WM.

I'd agree that if one can find a MC filter that fits your vehicle application they would also be a good value choice. Most specifically the MC applications with silicone adbv and thread end bypass.
