Hmmm I wonder how it would look if you used time as the component.

That is, if everyone put the miles and the coincidental months that it occured over. I think you might see more of a symetrical bell curve ..or perhaps skew the other way.

All vehicles are currently running Mobil 1 but will probably go AMSOIL on the Civic since I bought some recently.

I am in transition from a 3000-mile OCI life (sometimes less than that). I have two vehicles that passed 3000 on their OCIs last week. I intend on going at least 4000. I already ran a 4400 OCI on the third vehicle. I would like to shoot for 5000 on all my vehicles.

This thread is useless without knowing what kind of driving conditions the car has been exposed to, eg. commuting, only highway, combo city/highway. Obviously the highway OCIs can be longer than the city.

2002 Ford Windstar-5000 miles, 5w-20 Motorcraft, Havoline or Exxon. 2004 Nissan Altima-5000 miles, 5w30 Havoline & Mobil 1. Will be switching to Castrol GC 0w30 and extending oci. Not sure to what interval yet, thinking 8000-10,000.
