On my Accord I follow the MM which usually indicates an oil change between 9-10K. used oil analysis have shown this to be a safe OCI. Mobil 1 5w-20 with a purolator filter is used.
On the wifes Jeep the OCI is every 6 months (due to repeated short trip use). Curent fill is Amsoil 0w-20 with an Amsoil filter.
My son's Jeep follows a 6 month OCI as well, due to short trip use. Pennzoil Platinum 5w30 with a purolator filter is in use.
Lincoln Mark LT OCI at 5k with MC 5w-20 and MC filter.
Lincoln Navigator OCI 4k with MC 5w-20 and MC filter due to short trips. I've gotten to this level after used oil analysis to determine whats best for these vehicles.
