Average OCI for those here?

If you average the reported lows(2000-3000) and the highs(10k-15k) you get about 7500. I think the weighted average will tend down to the bottom, less go the longer OCI's(but trending this way I think), so board wide average perhaps 5000-6000 miles.

Usually about 5000-6000K miles on AMSOIL but I have gone as far as 8400+ on same. My '77 Chev pickup seldom receives an oil change any more due to very low miles/year. My OPE- usually 1-2X/year.
5-6k with blended oil for the 2 cars with daily use. Annually for the other.
~ 6,000 miles. That's what my OLM tells me to do. Using P.P. 5w30 in the '07 Uplander.
I have been changing oil annually, about every 20K miles. I have used exclusively Mobil 1 0W20, although the vehicles probably had 5W30 in at first before the 0W20 became widely available
Currently, the 1994 Lumina Minivan (3.1 litre) is at 246K miles
and burns almost nothing. Looks, sounds and runs like new.
This vehicle is used for continous towing, a very heavy boat behind it for a commercial operation.
Our coummuter vehicle (1994 Escort) is at 235 K miles, same oil,same change interval. Also burns no oil, quiet etc.
OF course I could change oil more often but why??? Neither motor shows any sign of age, and both vehicles are near the end of their normal service life, 14 years old, nearly 250 k miles.
No, I have never done a oil analysis.
I especially like the 0W20 in winter, effortless starts even when skiing in the mountains. Temps near -40 disable most vehicles, especially in thin air. Many cars that are reported to start well at -20 (at sea level) just crank, spit and sputter - run on the starter - but do not develop enough power to actually start when using 10W30, etc when at high altitudes even at -20. By -40 it seems every car in the parking lot has failed to start, except for those using thin synthetic oils.
A pair of new Toyotas in my stable are requiring me to change every 5K miles for the warranty.

I'm in the opposite camp to most - I'm trying to get down to SHORTER intervals - my last 4 or so oil changes have been 8+k miles on dino...car still runs good. Would like to get it down to 5-6k, on dino, but if I switch to syn, I'll go 10-12k.
Annually in April, sooner if UOA tells me to change.
I do 4,500 on the Amsoil ACD in the TL. If I accidentally go over, I don't worry since I could easily double the OCI and be ok.
The car hit 70K this weekend and it's just so pretty under the valvecover, I would hate for that to change so I keep the OCI short. It should be interesting when teardown time comes around, running a VII-less oil for nearly it's whole life.

I go by the OLM on my CR-V. Two oil changes so far, and they were between 9-10k miles. The last CR-V was every 5k since it didn't have the OLM.
Passenger cars:

Everything gets synthetic. Valvoline for the vehicles, Rotella for the bikes. My work vehicle is still on M1, but will get Valvoline Synthetic going forward.

This engine seems to like Pennzoil Platinum best. It is quieter and seems to run better than it did on Mobil 1 or Motorcraft.

On my old 95 Ford Aerostar EXT with 4.0 engine I usually tried to hit 5K miles (Ford recommendation) but often went as much as 8 - 9K miles. It currently has over 200K miles and still runs great. I've used Valvoline Syn. and Durablend 5w30 in it over the years. Didn't see any real difference between the two oils.

I have three cars all averaging about 13k miles per year.
I change oil every three months and don't worry about mileage. Generally, I just set aside part of a Saturday and do them all. I use any reasonably priced brand 5w30 conventional except for splurging in the winter when I put in Mobil 1 0w30 to get the cold temperature protection.

I think a lot of us would like to see under your valve covers or see a used oil analysis, just to see what your oil / engine looks like after that many miles... That to me is impressive!

I've been doing year or 10k the last couple years on my Duratecs. Haven't made it to 10k yet but will this year. My sister's Focus made it to 10k. Use Pennzoil Platinum 5w20 and Pureone or MC's. No usage on any. Going to try to get my parents vehicles on the same oci's if I can.
I change when the engine is a quart low, which is 8500 on my Dodge and 9500+ on my Element. That way, I don't waste the quart of Mobil 1 for a few thousand miles use. The UOA always tells me to extend my OCI 2000 miles.
