Really a pity considering this website generally offers much more than ignorance or jealousy.
Just my opinion.

I have owned Toy's for over 20 years. lets do the numbers
Miles before I sold each car . Never 1 engine problem and probably all still running.
Only my current one burns oil. 1 qt every 1000 miles.
current 93 - 329000 - still daily driver
2002 prizm -116000 and counting
95 - sold with 225000
98 sienna 145000
93 previa 178000
2000 sienna 136000
95 prizm 236000

Yes, the new ones have a few more problems , especially the ones built in America.
The tundra is a POS. The 2.4 burns oil if you are not regular with oil changes. The 3.0 will sludge if you do not maintain it.
Remember that all new cars , especially after 2011 , are prone to engine problems because of the new mileage requirements and the leaner burning mixtures.
Fact.....

What year was/is your Tundra? What problems did you experience?
I had my 2000 Tundra for 13 1/2 years and 207K miles. Sometimes I regret selling it, but I felt it was time.

If they are so bad - tell sales dept to not take them on trade
Oh right, you don't own the Hyundai dealership, you work at the parts counter.

LMAO hahahahaha.

Any auto manufacturer would love to trade places with Toyota.

I own two Camrys and a Land Cruiser and I haven't spent a nickel on them except for fuel, tires, air filters, and oil changes.

The Camrys regularly deliver 31 MPG and I got 18.5 MPG with the Land Cruiser on a recent trip.

97 Camry 261000 still runs great
88 Camry 227000 running great when sold
07 Camry 107000 barely broken in

98 Camry 267000 ( daughter's car belies notion that it's just care as hers is often neglected)

Guess I better stop having fun in my Vette...

Why have you thickened it to more than Toyota put in the bottle ?

The car calls for a 30wt oil and this is my first time trying a 20wt. Building confidence in the application, one step at a time. This is the first time I've ever deviated from a Mfr's recommended oil viscosity.

At the oil temps I see running around on the street (up to 240F), a 20wt oil is thicker than a 30wt would be under track conditions (up to 300F), and my oil pressure gauge seems to agree. Since I don't track the car, why use the heavier oil?

Next time around I will probably go with straight TGMO.

He hasn't either.

So you're experiencing "Increased wear on hot start, low idle, and WOT.
Increased oil consumption"? I haven't experienced any of these things happening.

What's OW-20? I know what 0W-20 is, but has Toyota created an all new classification of oil just for themselves?

Or maybe that's the sound consumers make when the parts counter tells them the price?

The funniest part of the original post is at the bottom of the banner: Ask your sales representative for more details. Like they would have a clue.

Toyota 2.4s burn oil like a mother. Ive seen it many times at work. Im in a habit of checking the level on every yota 2.4 i do an oil change on before starting any work on it. Ive turned many camrys away for having only 2 qts in the pan. And the filter location on the 3.3 makes me wanna lash out on somebody. jk. I wish i could turn those away.

Kind of what I was thinking when I read those posts.
Sure, not all Toyota's are great cars...but they certainly have proven, as a whole, to have produced and continue to produce some very well built vehicles that are highly reliable. While it's also true that many other car makers are now making equally as good as vehicles as Toyota....to slam them they way these two posts did is rather comical.
