ON, Canada eh?
I called my cell provider this morning to check on something and the lady that helped me told me that I could upgrade from 1gb of tethering per month to 6gb for free.

I asked her what was the catch and there wasn't any.

I love that I can tether my I-Phone to my laptop for free and surf the web on the road. (When parked of course) I know you south of the border have to pay extra in most cases but I'm sure this should come your way soon.

It's awesome not to have, to have an internet stick...

Then again we get (choice words) here for cell-phone service so maybe it isn't free.

I was grandfathered into the unlimited data package with AT&T and my blackberry can tether without any additional plan to any computer.

I'm not trying to high-cap, but it's pretty cool. You may not have heard that term, but to high-cap is to perform an act of oneupsmanship.

That's awesome. Right now I have separate phone and broadband plans. I basically run my I touch and laptop off of a mifi mobile hotspot with a no contract data plan and just have a basic calling plan. I am thinking about streamlining and getting a phs 300 to tether using just one plan.

Or just spend the $20 on PDAnet and it works fine without any monkeying. I use it when I need to work and wait somewhere without wifi. It always works well.
