I saw one in the Virgin Islands (49c/kWh!!) recently. The black one at least must be a privately owned vehicle. They don't come wrapped in black(not that it improves the look really).

Been saying they look better painted - olive drab for the Army

Worth every penny if the raccoons don’t think it’s a dumpsterI saw one with a wrap, it looked a hell of a lot better than the stainless steel look. I wonder what the wrap set the guy back by.
IIRC it was a dumpster advertising a business, in a very wealthy section of L.I.Worth every penny if the raccoons don’t think it’s a dumpster![]()
Typically $3k-$5k for a wrap based on prices I've seen here. Could be higher for the size of the vehicle. I paid $2500 to wrap my wife's Ford Edge that we got a bit of a discount because it was one of their earlier vehicles while trying to get the word out about their business. I don't know if it was the work they did, but I just don't like wraps. Unless every corner is absolutely perfect and every crease is on point it make any vehicle and instant 5 footer.I saw one with a wrap, it looked a hell of a lot better than the stainless steel look. I was in one Model 3 where they wrapped the glass roof too. Looked interesting from the inside with shiny glass over white plastic …Typically $3k-$5k for a wrap based on prices I've seen here. I guess it's hard to make a Cybertruck look worse though.
I might not be opposed to that. I don't know that I love the glass roof. Heck I wish my GTI didn't have a sunroof, but it's apparently not possible to order a top trim level without a sunroof or glass roof from most manufacturers. We just tinted ours really dark with ceramic tint so the heat doesn't transmit through into the cabin on the Model 3. It also helped blend the tint lines since the back window gets darker as it transitions to the roof section instead of trying to meet the line with tint film and end up looking bad.I was in one Model 3 where they wrapped the glass roof too. Yep - had plenty large and small sun roofs - we have moved on.I might not be opposed to that. I don't know that I love the glass roof. I'll take a standard fixed steel or aluminum roof over any other option.
Silly is a very good way to describe the styling. I just don't get it. It's amazing this actually got out in this form.Worth every penny if the raccoons don’t think it’s a dumpster
Update: I’m not anti Tesla or anti LT - but the CT is just plain silly …
It's completely outside the original intent of the brand in the first place. I really cannot put into words how much I dislike the Cybertruck. It has a massive amount of design flaws that genuinely make it worse to use. Just think of what they could have done if they made a more normal truck.Silly is a very good way to describe the styling. Another way of talking about this styling might be, "what the heck were they thinking"???????
I mean they might actually sell more if it didn't look like a kid's toy, or an object from Minecraft.
My 8 year old sees these things on the road and tells me, "Hey Daddy, there's the ugly Tesla!"
They don't look particularly good straight do they?Having recently seen a few Cybertrucks in person recently, I can't say that I particularly liked what I thought of as the "Madmax Posh" styling. I can just imagine how bad all those straight panel sections are going to look after several years worth of dings and dents.
You've completely changed my perception, LOL. They're forever now going to be Refrigerator Sheik in my mind. They don't look particularly good straight do they?
I picture the walk in freezer doors at cafeteria I worked in when I was 17 with all the dings from us slamming carts into them to open and close the doors. Considering how often I see Tesla owners complaining about curbed wheels, it's probably accurate for how they'll be treated.
That gloss black wrap is growing on me.
Somehow it makes the design a bit more subtle. That gloss black wrap is growing on me.
