So I drove about 300 miles, bucking slight wind, weather in high 20's to 30's. My Chrysler 300 never had worse than 24.5 mpg on any trip to my parents and there have been many and many different scenerios: Weather, Wind, Traffic and So on. I added the Techron Fuel System Cleaner and I perhaps had my worst mileage ever at 21.8 mpg. When I came back, I added 90 octane no ethanol gas, about at 55/45 split between no ethanol and ethanol. Weather was about 10 degrees colder and had very little wind if any, I average 27.3 mpg. I could say the Fuel System cleaner did it's job after a good 300 mile cleaning, or the decrease of ethanol fuel was the biggest factor. I have run almost a full tank of Ethanol before and had 27.8 mpg which was the top gas mileage ever seen on this car.
