Well, the Plaid beat the Taycan Turbo S by 7 seconds, Porsche added a Performance upgrade that is only available in Germany and on 2023 models. It beat the Plaid by less than 3 seconds. To quote you, maybe Porsche should have built their car better to start with?
Tesla needs to resolve brake issue on Plaid. It is beyond amateurish to release car with so many deficiencies.
All of which are recommendations and none of which void the warranty. 8 years 100,000 miles is the federal mandate.
Those are recommendations. Does not say anything about declining warranty. Based on little less than 100yrs of track record, it will be easier to deal with then Tesla.
Actually they reduce the warranty to 36 months - the whistleblower doc is already on here and its been discussed before.

You mean they are addressing problems? And not like reading stories of “auto pilots” for 5 years, and keep reading. Or stories of people breaking out of cars on fire? Or car that “can go” over 200mph, byt really cannot as they forgot brakes?
They are addressing it. But, since their customers don’t slam into vehicles for no apparent reason or breaking out of cars under fire, it is a not news.
There are 2 options for brake upgrades that I know of. A $9k aftermarket Carbon Ceramic kit and a factory Carbon Ceramic kit that is over $20K I believe. Bring down one of the worlds fastest cars is no small take, especially at 5,000 pounds or whatever it weighs.
BMW had 4 door sedan capable of hitting 207mph in 1998 for general public, and no brake options. Brakes coming on vehicle were absolutely fine to stop it.
