The new Porsche Taycan Turbo S Performance just set the EV record at the Ring.
Is it a production car? Who cares! How much does it cost? Who cares!

Maybe the Plaid needs an OTA update to pick up a few seconds?
These are incredible cars, regardless.

Porsche has always built performance vehicles. The plaid crashed on the Nurburgring, and still won't do 200 mph. Second that's the biggest problem with Tesla owners "just ota updates " on everything. How about actually build it better to start like Porsche has.

Well, the Plaid beat the Taycan Turbo S by 7 seconds, Porsche added a Performance upgrade that is only available in Germany and on 2023 models. It beat the Plaid by less than 3 seconds. To quote you, maybe Porsche should have built their car better to start with?

Pics of the gorgeous Taycan do not do it justice. Here is one we saw parked in downtown Palo Alto. Wifey cooed, "Is this ours?"

Tesla needs to resolve brake issue on Plaid. It is beyond amateurish to release car with so many deficiencies.
A lot of vehicles call themselves “sport,” “performance,” etc. and have exceptional performance from red light to another red light.
But, when average driver takes them to a track, and they fall apart. Porsche, is definitely not in that category.

The GORGEOUS Taycan is a fragile flower whose battery warranty has more strings than a box of tampax.

Cant park it in the sun, cant charge it over 86 degrees....

They dont deny it- they scope the car and reduce it.

This car has problems. Cant do this" if" or that "if "

You mean they are addressing problems? And not like reading stories of “auto pilots” for 5 years, and keep reading. Or stories of people breaking out of cars on fire? Or car that “can go” over 200mph, byt really cannot as they forgot brakes?
Ah that is called i guess “Disturbing the market.”

Are they addressing them?

They are leaving it up to the clients to deal with.

Who cares about an option you aren't forced to buy?

They are addressing it. But, since their customers don’t slam into vehicles for no apparent reason or breaking out of cars under fire, it is a not news.
And, guess what? Company that is roasting people inside still did not address it. Or slamming into vehicles.

Porsche will be fine. They can slowly address issues. They don’t need fast cash to buy Twitter.

There are 2 options for brake upgrades that I know of. A $9k aftermarket Carbon Ceramic kit and a factory Carbon Ceramic kit that is over $20K I believe. Bring down one of the worlds fastest cars is no small take, especially at 5,000 pounds or whatever it weighs.

BMW had 4 door sedan capable of hitting 207mph in 1998 for general public, and no brake options. Brakes coming on vehicle were absolutely fine to stop it.

Absolute BS!
