If you are like me, you prefer it from an aluminum can, let us say Pepsi. I can taste Pepsi frequently colder if nicely refrigerated and not hard frozen, with a nice flavor and sippable taste, vs being effectively chugged down from a transparent plastic bottle that only probably has the same effects as light-stretching of beer in green bottles, but also may keep the soda hotter. I also tastes much more syrup in the bottle.

Has anyone else noticed this.

The BEST was when they were still in glass bottles and made with sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup garbage. That's how they were when I was a kid. You can still get them made that way aka Mexican sodas. I hardly ever drink soft drinks, but if I need a sugar fix, they're really good!

Cans and plastic,yuck!

Man, you must be old as [censored].

When did soda ever come in glass bottles?

Maybe it's just me, but, When I bought a soda that said Made with Real Sugar it tasted really disgusting to me.

That said, Coke now makes one that says it has Real Sugar, and Stevia.

Haha I'm a VERY young 46 :p Yep,in the 70s all soft drinks came in glass bottles. The large ones (can't remember if they were two liter) came in big glass bottle 4 packs. Also, you had to pay a deposit on them and got your money back when you returned the bottles to the store. Ah the good old days!!

You're probably not used to it being so sweet. Kindve like people who get used to the taste of diet drinks and light beer. I prefer real sugar soft drinks and the darkest beer made

In NY our family used to take all the cans to the can crusher outside Grand Union and get money back, usually like a dollar or two..

Now that I think about it, I see little small glass bottle soda and I think to myself how do you get that cap off. Seems weird to me.

Then again.. Soda is the worst thing you can drink, anyways. Though I may get a nice CAN on the way home.

How about black coffee, like me, where I just take small sips until I have to force myself to realize that I don't really like it, since when you add the cream and sugar the coffee is no longer good for you, whereas, in black form, all the antioxidants from the coffee bean can do good for your body. You mean like that?

I could also try the glass of red wine a day, if there is truth to that. As long as I don't become a wine-o. Had a can of Heineken the other day and I can say that I'm not big on beer.

This seems really overkill for that blend of carbonation, dye, sugar, and caffeine, as well as high-fructose corn syrups, sucrose, fructose, more CO2, vanillin, Yellow No. 5, and whatever else they have in there.. that then gets sold for what like 79 cents a can.

55-gallon drum of the syrup can disintegrate a mouse....

Pure water, people. Best thing you can drink.

I always buy French Roast coffee and put just a tiny amount of cream and sugar in it.

Heineken beer is like liquid candy to me,YUM!! I also love red wine. One of my faves is Messina Hof sweet red.
