Don't know how many of you deal with complicated serpentine belts regularly but I was working on my friend's very high mileage work truck and had an inspiration.
After reassembly of a catastrophic water pump failure where we replaced idlers and tensioner, etc., I was having issues routing the serpentine belt. A small piece of gorilla tape on the belt holds it in place on a pulley as you work it into position. Much easier that fudging it with two hands when you need at least three!
