synthetic prices

I went to nappa,autozone, r & n straus and one other chain auto parts store. The avg price of mobil 1 was 8 bucks a qt! with no option to but a 5 qt jug. Its crazy. why would anyone buy oil from one of these places when you get can mobil 1 at walmart for 5 qts for 21 bucks...

Here in Illinois Mobil 1 oils are about a buck less than that at AZ. The only time I buy oil at these places is when it's on sale. Hard to beat Walmart for oil.

Depends on what I want. Or which car.


Wife's car uses M1 (regarless of where-just bought some at the local hardware store)I'm not going to cry over a few bucks....


My beater gets whatever synthetic is on sale.....

Yeah the prices have jumped across the board.

Mobil 1 is up to 22.50 for a 5 quart jug at Wal Mart

Extended Performance is 27.50

Syntec is 26.50

Pennzoil Platinum and Valvoline Synpower are up to 23.00

Quaker State is still 20 bucks
