My 1990 4Runner has a power steering belt that cannot be adjusted right.

The listed belt is still too loose after full adjustment. Next size down won't go on.

Been putting up with the screech at full lock for ages. Changing the fluid a year ago (Mobil Dexron) made no change.

Changed to M1ATF, and it's a light whistle at lock.

I have quieted PS pump noises with auto-rx on two of my trucks. An 89 mazda went completely quiet. A 95 f-150 (know for ps noises) was substantially reduced. I also treated a 92 toyota pick-up, but it really had no problems to correct. It only takes an ounce or two of the auto-rx and it worked pretty quick for me.
