Differential fluid recommendation for Toyota and Nissan

I can’t comment on the tundra but can promise you the rogue needs done early and often. The transfer and rear diff hold a qt together and will be outhouse water by 40k. I know from experience. The fronts a total pain in the keister but it’s cheap insurance. Use something of quality, amsoil, schaeffers or motul. No reason not to when it’s only a qt
Thanks. I haven't done it yet myself on the Rogue, but we've had it done at the dealer. I'll do it next time. It's probably been 3-4 years now. We haven't hit 40k though. Might just do it to switch it out to Amsoil too. I did a short interval change on the Tundra just because I was worried they didn't do it right, didn't use the right fluid, etc. Turns out they overtorqued every bolt and stacked more than one washer, and I had a small leak! And rounded one bolt off too andd re-used other gaskets. So I'm glad I did it. Now I know it's done right. Makes me want to switch the manual transmission fluid out too... But that's supposed to be Redline MT-90.
