I told him my thoughts on the analysis, so I'd like to see what you guys think.

One thing I mentioned is that his sampling method is probably hurting the results, showing more fuel and more insolubles than what really is in there.

His TBN went up from 15.5 to 16.5 too, which is rare.

The increase in TBN might be impacted by the increase in Boron. Not sure why that would increase, however I think you are right, the way he sampled it skewed the results.

On his 2k sample, which is already on it's way to the lab, he says he let the oil trickle out a bit longer before doing the sample.
