Usually between 5% and 10%.
That works out to between 10000 to 12000 kms for the fall change.

When I asked them what they used, they told me they are using Shell supplied semi-synthetic oil, which would be either Quaker State Enhanced Durability or Pennzoil Gold.

I'd like to switch to Pennzoil Platinum 5w30 at my next oil change.

That's really not a lot of mileage (kilometerage?) on the motor.

Can anyone forsee any issues in switching to full synthetic from semi-synthetic at 75,000 kms?

Thanks...Brad

Hi Brad - Since you are currently interested in trying Pennzoil, we'd love to have you participate in our Pennzoil Used Oil Analysis program! Through the program, you'll receive a sample of Pennzoil Synthetics for your GMC Terrain along with testing supplies and complimentary lab testing from Blackstone. If you're interested, please send us a private message for more details. - Gena & The Pennzoil Team
