Switching, Amsoil to Pennzoil

Hey, dipstick01: Try GI Joe's for a case of Amsoil at 20% off the next time they put a coupon in their ad.

I've been buying it there for the ZX-11 for years. You should be able to go 10K easy with maybe a filter change and top-off at 5K using almost any decent filter.

I'd stick with the Amsoil 10w-30 and change it every 6000- 7500 miles in this Subaru turbo engine.

The Mobil 1, 10w-30 will also work well here ....

I would try M1 15W50. First California is a warm state so cold start is not a problem. Second the 15W50 will provide better protection in a forced induction application especialy turbo charged. Third M1 is available everywhere in California!! Their has to be a Walmart,Costco,Sam's,Target,AutoZone..... near by!

M1 will do an excellent job in most cases far exceeding all but an oil zelots needs.
