Wow! Those are amazing numbers. Oxidation and nitration look incredibly low.....isn't this the sludge moster engine?

oil was in use from very end of Dec. to mid March.

Schaeffer's does not have TBN on most kits.

They do sell a ton of this oil, if you want some, you gotta order a ton.

Last Z, Yes this is one of the sludge engines, even after a diet of Supertech and valvoline, (one OCI was a year!) it cleaned right up.

Incredible! It is hard to believe that this oil is a blend. It is equally incredible that you ran this oil as long as you did, talk about bang for the buck. Schaeffers does not get enough appreciation from the oil nerd community because it is not a full synthetic, with these numbers who cares.

I don't believe this was a sludgemonster. I believe 97 predates the problem engines.

Hot Dang, my man. Brutal winter service yet, cold starts and all. I am glad I will be trying Schaeffer's soon, after 25 years with Castrol GTX (which is great, too, by the way).
