I currently run a Pureone PL20195 (larger than OEM) on my 05 Tacoma V6 183k with Mobil 1 High Mileage and OCI of 6k. I may extend the OCI based on my next UOA. Looking for feedback on max OCI for Supertech 3600. Thanks!

I bought a stash of SuperTechs on clearance for 75 cents each that fit my wife's 2012 Highlander V6. I run them out to 8000 miles regularly. I wouldn't worry about it. They are the cartridge type and always look fine when I change the oil.

The supertech is considered good for up to 10000mi, although I think they recommend only going to you manufacturer recommended interval, for a long OCI, I'd possibly consider using the fram extra gaurd over the Supertech since they're pretty close in cost and the Fram has a silicone ADBV, plus you can get the Fram in a PH8A size for an even larger capacity than the PH3600, it should fit your Tacoma.

Your 4.0L V6 is one of the easiest engines on oil imaginable. Search around for some of the Used Oil Analysis posts on vehicles with this engine.

7,500 miles on Supertech synthetic 0 problems.

I have ran Supertech Oil Filters for years, granted --- 5000 miles is max limit for me on Oil & Supertech Oil Filter. Fram Ultra --- now that is another story..

The Supertech 3600 is rated up to 10k depending on the manufacturer's recommended interval, just like the Fram Extra Guard. In your shoes, I would feel fine running it up to 8k especially since your truck has had good care all it's life and is likely very clean inside. Keep in mind the oil capacity has some bearing on the service interval, I would not push it too far. Your 4.0 has a smaller oil capacity than my 2.7 lol.

I have used STs on my Honda Civic without issues. On my other vehicles I prefer expensive filters but have a bunch of $3 Mobil 1 filters bought from WW for the 2014 Jeep Pentastar.
