Yea take a quart of water and add salt and sugar to it weigh it each time it will be slightly heavier each time, oil is the same way less " stuff " in eth oil more oil by weight
Is this supposed to explain something? Are you interested in any kind of meaningful discussion on your original question, or are you just seeking a podium for you Ill informed ideas. In this case you have again blown it. You can add volumes on unlike liquids together and the resultant volume can be less than the original sum of the components. Now when you are talking about “weight,” you probably mean mass. That measurement stays constant. Conservation of matter requires this. Is this where you are going? Are you just telling us that if you have 100 g of water and add 1g of salt, the resultant “weight” is 101g. We know.

OP,

I used the term "Supertech" in a search at the PQIA website, and got back these results that quantify many of the additives used along with base oil to produce the lubricant. You can use that same Search function on the PQIA site to examine their quantitative test results to compare.

Note none of these oils list VII, for one thing, nor for example extra ingredients for a high mileage motor oil. Those additives and their concentration are proprietary information. Dunno how you propose to find data on these and other not tested additives.

Now, dazzle me with data to support your assertion that Supertech motor oil contains less additives than comparable motor oil brands available to consumers.

Your links are at least five years old. Lots of formulation changes since.

OP Wolfen -
Welcome to the site.

Please spend more time reading and less time posting. Several good suggestions are to be found by using the search tool. Your ideas about lubes and additives are, frankly, ill-founded; you have a lot to learn. Rather than espousing some really incredulous concepts, perhaps read the linked threads others have put forth.

We're done here.
