I think it's just a very weak dye.
I do like being able to see the bottom of my surge tank, if this stuff gets cloudy you see it quicker. Use a flashlight to the side of the tank to see that crystal clear light green goo all the way down.
have noticed the advance auto stuff has more of a yellowish tint, like the conventional prestone of way long ago.

The problem with people on this forum is that they properly maintain their vehicles. If one uses Dex-Cool and properly maintains the vehicle then in most cases all is well. But if one is forgetful, then Dex-Cool may turn to sludge, when G-05 would have been fine. There is nothing superior about Dex-Cool in performance or price, so why bother.
