I have one of these and recently used it for a bunch of hinges. Worked well. But then it stopped. Now it leaves a surface with the tiniest amount of oil (hard to even see). No drops of oil. Maybe I have pushed too hard the plastic tip against metal hinges and closed the tiny hole where oil comes out.

Anyone with good or bad experience with this oil pen?

Is it filled with factory oil or refilled by you with something else? I have used them but found that the plastic is not resistant to some liquid lubes if you refill them. If you have a set of cutting torch tip cleaners you can open the tip.

I have not refilled it. I complained to the company and they are sending me a new one. But might play with this one also.

So maybe I pushed the tip too hard against a hinge on large swinging gate.

But I emailed the company saying the oil pen stopped working and they sent me two new ones.

So a thumbs up for great customer service.
