Super Tech FS prices have increased again

How is the napa synthetic blend? The ones local to me don't have the 5w-30 variety but they do have 5w-20.

I've never used it. I just happened to see it advertised as being on sale online. My local Napa is pretty terrible with their oil stock, so they likely don't have it either.

I used to hit them up for the 5qt jugs of full synthetic when they had them on sale. Prior to that, it used to be when they'd have a sale on their quarts of synthetic for $1.99.

Supertech 0w20 full syn is 17.98 at Wal Mart in Louisville...same for 5w30 and 10w30...

Yep - I’m about an hour from Houston

Yeah man...

My Cam2 full synthetic went from $21 a 6 qt case to now $25.80 a case. .

Hell I went to the Napa hoping to score Superpromax for like $28 to $30 in a 12 qt case.

I knew it was $1.99 a qt in the 12 qt case two years ago.... My hooked on math told me that was $24 a 12 qt case.

So I figured it had to have gone up some....

Well it was $41.88....

I put that case back. Got the full synthetic Cam2 instead.

I'm temped to partake but the last time i simply posted a single 1 word reply in a "political" post i got banned for 3 days and supposedly I'm on my last ban and i'll get permanently banned if it happens again.
It's because at this point there's nothing clever or novel about it and really no one cares to mix their BITOG neurosis with that when people literally won't **** about everywhere else. So, I'm glad you thought this out.

They changed their name too which is good as there was always confusion between the two Warren companies.

Note: look at all the brands now under this new company. RainX, Ingersoll Rand, Sprayway, Turtle Wax, Briggs and Stratton, Kimberly Clark and more.

It’s important to note that they list all the companies they distributed as well. They don’t own all of those listed.

I'm just sitting back and waiting for all the oil companies to catch up. Wal Mart is a savvy buyer and will change their supplier if they cannot compete.
Good point, if ST starts raising their prices and sales drop, Walmart may not sit around, but then again...how big of a deal is this to them? I dont know.

Just think this was already happening while vehicle production had slowed drastically - now the factory will be demanding more lubes again !

Crazy-the Prime Guard people now own Warren Distribution? Prices way up, betting quality to soon be way down. Those discount jugs of M1, RGT, and numerous quarts of Castrol in the stash are looking better all the time…

not in the top 10 sales items - a pack each of Bounty and Charmin - (top 10) that’s what a jug of oil costs …
Over half of the profits come from groceries …
I’m thinking motor oil is middle of the road - and they never ran hard at other lubricants …
(limited choices on drive line fluids) …
Have also seen the Techs come inside for oil to use in the shop - so that’s dual purpose SF in use that saves space for tires and batteries etc …

If the prices of ST increase to Mobil 1 & Pennzoil synthetic levels, the ST is not going to sell. That would be like store brand generic cleaning supplies being priced higher than P&G brands (Tide, for example). Suicide.

Walmart already uses different suppliers based on region. They have been known to use Highline Warren, Amalie, Citgo, and Exxon Mobil, depending on region.
