Subjective motor oil poll...

I used to like Quaker State, and still do like it. I like the Q-Power Series, however, after much research, I think most brand names and some housebrands, like what Walmart sells, will perform well in any vehicle. It really is up to the owner of the car or truck as to what suits him/her related to motor oils, oil filters, and air filters.
After much research, I will use Motorcraft oils,filters, and parts in my Mustang, while under warranty, and then I will go full synthetic oil, Purolator Pure One Air/Oil Filters after the warranty is over. My selling dealer said that he would put Valvoline Durablend into my car, the invoice says Valvoline Durablend, but the numbers from the invoice indicates that he put Valvoline Premium Conventional 5w30 motor oil from a 55 gallon drum. I checked with a Lincoln-Mercury dealer in Austin, and that dealer only uses Motorcraft Oil/Filters, Synthetic or Synthetic Blend unless you bring your own, and then he charges an installation fee of around $20.00, plus cost of used oil disposal fee, plus the usual taxes without "real" representation to the state and federal governments.

I feel a good oil is good in any weight. The weight only matters to the equipment that it's used in. I have no use for any 20W-50 oils, but.....
