Do you think the mayonnaise was made of quality ingredients? Or highly processed chemicals?
Reddit isn't very specific, but having worked in other fast food restaurants as a college student it is lowest bidder. The food chain I worked for used Kraft salad dressings and Miracle Whip and called it mayo.
Side McDonald's story: remember in the 1960's when MCD charged for ketchup for your fries, one or two pennies per packet? As a young kid, that tended to sour me on McD back then. At the time we lived near Hardees & A&W in NC, and they never did that back then. Pretty easy to decide where to eat the limited fast food we were allowed to have.

Been a long time
Blue Plate is my favorite, but hard to find at a reasonable price range. Sometimes found as north as Arkansas.
They use more or only egg yolks than any other brand. Currently using Duke's due to reasonable availability.
Never seen that!
Made in Louisiana. Several years ago, Walmart tried to sell up here, but quickly discontinued. Few knew about so no decent sales figures.

30 years ago Duke's was the cheapest brand. Like half what Kraft cost. That's why I used it. It's called frugal, not cheap.

Yeah, it was a pretty small regional brand back then.
Duke's spread (hhahaha) west REALLY fast.

Everywhere. I had given up ordering back when, then within weeks - in Fred Meyer, Safeway, Walmart, Target, small stores, just like that.

The Force is strong in this one.
Some McD's franchise owners play that cash grab game when special ordering ingredients on their burgers and sandwiches. The way to get around that surcharge is to ask for a packet(s) of mayonnaise when they hand you the order.
