Stupid New Car Names and Editions !

You modified a Yugo? Top speed stock was 86mph.

Far from worst car in history. That's the auto industry dumping on Delorean.
In the history of over 75 cars I've owned - Its in the top ten for Handling, Fun to drive and reliability.
You had to know it was an Italian Car and how to care and feed it - much less effort than any
British Leyland product. The biggest problems with mine were with FORD sourced heater parts and Carburettor

For BAD Cars, I would put the Renault Alliance and the Fuego near the TOP along with the Chevette and Escort and Fairmont /Zephyr

Tempo and Topaz were pretty good, but forgotten today.
I'm sure many have owned some of these and had good luck with them. The Renault were great handlers.

But That's just the luck of the draw.

[drum roll, please]

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the ....Suzuki iMark. I WIN.

Snotty comments.
1) re the "Calligraphy Edition": It's a set-up. The bad-boy version will be "Counterfeiter Edition".
2) re Mercur XR4Ti: How could 5 characters be so clumsy? A pal had a "Scorpio" in Sweden. Same car, I think.
3) re Road Runner, Super Bee, Hellcat, using Ricardo M., using Joan+Melissa R., using Arthur G., the 'Hang 10' edition Dodge 'Convertriple'.....gotta admire Chrysler.....it's that "Extra Care in Engineering".

Yeah but you know the reason they had to back them with 100k warranties was because they fell apart. You don't see companies that manufacture quality vehicles do that. Chrysler probably started it with their 7/70k warranties when their cars were bad.
Actually 5/50 back in the early 60s.
The Curse of the 57s sill lives on in FCA. May it now die with Stellantis.

The badge is awful as well and has been for years. *** does it even mean ?

The Toyota badge?

“The two smaller circles within the larger circle form the letter “T”. This represents “Toyota”, along with “trust” between the brand and the driver. The larger circle completes the look and symbolizes technological innovation and globalization.”

Copied from here.

Cadillac's new electric cars are adopting a new "-iq" suffix and it's just honestly terrible and not well thought out. Then again GM changes Cadillac naming conventions every 4 to 5 years so at least it will be short lived. Will someone please take Cadillac out behind the shed and finally just finish it?

What's that "Mustache" in your Mazda Badge, PimTac?

Or, looking again, is that a "tiny weenie" Bikini I see ?! :)

Gladiator. Makes me smile. I keep thinking what were other considerations? Barbarian, Assassin, Killer, Mercenary, Slayer, just bored, take no offense. I like the Gladiator, the movie too.
"Joey, do you like movies about Gladiators?" Comes to mind whenever someone mentions one :D
