Study on the cars with the most reckless drivers

**convictions**
BMW drivers lawyer up and plead to a lesser charge...
My former boss did that. They got him driving his BMW M4 111mph on the freeway. His lawyer got his fine reduced to $1000. Still got 2 points on his license. He says he can’t imagine not wanting to drive fast.

No Tesla on here? I saw a brand new Model 3 stuffed into the right side of a Nissan Maxima at a 45 degree angle. Still had new temp tags.

They seem to think it's the Miata. I've seen Genesis Coupe drivers and I can understand that. And of course Isuzu and Saturn are off the market. I also distinctly remember the L200 as being tremendously boring.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the L200 was the four cylinder model. The data is based on a per 10,000 rate and there's probably not 10,000 L200s, CCs, or Rodeos still on the road, so the sample sizes are probably skewing this a lot. I think that's why the Miata "won" too...it's a sports car, but also has a very low sample size compared to others. Most Miatas I see are not being driven recklessly, but if the sample size is too small for good data, it could look that way. The fact that the Mustang and Camaro aren't on there is surprising. I'm guessing it's just because they sell more than the Challenger and have broader appeal among old ladies, sorority girls, people who never drive them, etc.

I bet the Silverado and Ram are on there due to squatty potty trucks.

There should be some data regarding age. Remember the thread that started with the link of the video of a new teen driver and the new high HP car his parents brought him. Some adults have no idea of where to draw the line with an inexperienced driver.

In years past I would also be looking for that to be further broken down into gender, but now days that is politically incorrect. I think most insurance companies can not even look at that, and just group all genders together.

We've seen Prius owners fly by on the interstate . 80+ . Kind of defeats the logic behind a hybrid . We had an 2nd generation .

So apparently these are the ones that get caught. Your odds are better in other models, LOL.

Kinda like the story about adding armor to the planes. Don't add it to the spots where the planes that returned to base were hit. Add the armor to the spots where they were not hit. Maybe the same thing here, these are the ones that got caught. Reckless drivers in other cars got away, or were able to slip under the radar so to speak.

The fact the Isuzu Rodeo is third on this list just makes me wonder what kind of high school computer wiz did Insurify hire to crunch those numbers. Recklessly driving an Isuzu Rodeo is like daring yourself to be involved in a rollover.

Unemployed people in a big hurry to go nowhere with paper plates from a budget auto lot are the worst. It's more about the driver or owner than it is about the vehicle. Any car with a "fart can" exhaust is a culprit as well. Any vehicle with extremely loud exhaust would make the list too.
BMW should be on the list.

When I was taking my drivers education class back in 1970 my instructor told the class to always give a wide berth to any vehicle that had a bent coat hanger replacing the radio antenna and a hole in the trunk lid where the owner had locked his keys in the trunk, punched the lock out and never replaced it. Those were the drivers who most likely had no insurance and were of the highest risk of doing something stupid and/or dangerous in our vicinity.

I has proved to be good advice.
