Stripped Bolt hole for rear shock

It's just a shock mount, so even if the bolt fails, it's not like the wheel falls off.


BUT -- the control arm is $25 at Rockauto for a cheapie SKP, $38 for a Moog K-series or a $46 for a Mevotech Supreme...

EDIT -- never mind, the bolt doesn't go into the control arm.

I'm replacing the shocks on my S40 (same platform) and it's easy to see how you could cross-thread this bolt.

Grade 8 SAE is equivalent to a 10.9 metric.
